1950s Vintage vase made in Mitterteich Bavaria — Gold band around rim and base — Design #9430 30 — The first porcelain factory in Bavaria began in Mitterteich in Bavaria, Germany in 1887 by a man named Ludwig Lindner. It was later taken over by a British company, Mosanic Pottery Max Emanuel & Co in 1895 who produced glass and porcelain. The Bavarian government took over the factory at the start of WWI — In 1917 it produced porcelain and glass under the name Porzellanfabrik Mitterteich A.G. — The factory ceased production in 2006 — Vase is 7 1/2" tall.
