First, let me say how glad I am that you stopped by today! My name is Carla and I have been recreating and repurposing vintage furniture and home decor for many years. I paint and refinish furniture and up-cycled home decor items that I have been selling on Facebook and in my booth at The Old Chapel Antique & Artisan Marketplace at 172 Robinson St. North Tonawanda, NY. I also had a brick & mortar store for a year where I offered artisan-made goods as well as my furniture and home decor. I live in a small, arts & crafts community in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY with my husband, Ren, our youngest daughter, Rachel, and her funny cat Chai. My oldest daughter lives a couple of blocks away with her husband and my two grandchildren and both of my sons live within 30 minutes of me. I am truly blessed to have my family so close by. Most days I can be found painting or refinishing furniture, visiting estate sales, garage sales, flea markets, rummage sales, and antique malls, or working on items to add to my website or booth. When I’m not working on something for Recreate Vintage Home, I am spending time with my family or playing golf with my husband who is a professional golf instructor when he isn’t hunting for vintage treasures with me.

However you were led to find me, I’m so glad you are here and I hope you enjoy browsing through the many wonderful vintage, retro and unique items I have so carefully curated for you to discover! I am so convinced that what we have to offer will have you stopping by for a visit again and again. I am always adding new items to the store so you will want to become a regular to see what’s new! Keep in mind that most items are the only one available and chances are we will not be able to get the same or even a similar item back in stock due to the vintage and unique nature of each one.
